the end of an era, one that was very special and important to me, and I’m so ecstatic that it concluded so spectacularly. it’s not perfect by any means, but it makes up for any of its flaws by having a grander scope than anything that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has ever attempted before. in all respects, this is a groundbreaking film, and it’s genuinely impressive how well it plays into what audiences want while subverting all of their expectations. makes some bold choices that I deeply appreciate, and it’s easily one of the most emotional films that has ever carried the Marvel moniker. really need to see this a second time to take it all it, but I loved it, and I’m glad that something so big can also be so good. the end of one story, the beginning of another one.
(also, the power in my entire theater DIED around the halfway point and didn’t come back on for about ten minutes, so that was fun.)
