    The Nymphets

This movie is not for everyone.  It fits within the mumble-core movement, with its natural feel and spontaneous dialogue.  The movie did explore the different behaviors of men and women while relying on sexual tension.

    Baby Driver

Edgar Wright is back!  Baby Driver had aptly been described as a post-modern musical.  There is no singing, but the action and visuals are so carefully tied to the music of the film, it is not doubt a dance between sight and sound.  The humor was a nice surprise and the car stunts were spectacular.  Tonally Baby Driver felt like a mix of Drive and Gaudians of the Galaxy.  (If you see the movie, trust me, that comparison will make sense).  Writing wise the third act was a little bumpy, but overall this is a smooth, well crafted ride worth taking.

    The Belko Experiment

When I first saw the trailer for The Belko Experiment, complete with the tag line "Battle Royal [meets] Office Space", they had my twelve dollars... SOLD. This is a movie with a strong concept, it reminds you of a real life representation of that question they asked you in ethics class, you know, about the sinking ship and who would you save because you can only save a few.

That being said, I am a fan of both Battle Royal…

I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore

This is an irreverent comedy that is so natural and true to life that it makes fora fun ride.  The directorial debut for Actor Macon Blair (Green Room), a must see.  Elijah Wood gave a great, pitch perfect performance.
