I saw this at the theatre with an intro and a Q&A with Fred Fuchs (godfather 3, the virgin suicides) it was cool to hear some extra trivia, for example the butler was played by a silent film director (who was still trying to be a director) so he took the role for a quick buck and he always hated the role because that's all he was known for afterwards. However he was probably my highlight of the film. I also loved the lead because he was just so sarcastic. This made me really want to watch more classic Hollywood (and more billy wilder)

A Neveldine/Taylor film without violence is like a tarantino movie without feet. Just not the same.

Shit like this is like my equivalent to my mom enjoying hallmark films. This is genuinely good mind you but I love this shit.

No fancy editing or anything just footage of a dude exploring the wilderness for 4 months condensed into a nice consumable 84 minutes. Good stuff.
