To Rome with Love ★★★½

A curious piece with hilarious scenes (opera buffs / fans of Seinfeld will love Pagliacci being sung in the shower). Baldwin delivers, Allen gets a few base-hit one-liners. Not annoyed, but also not excited by Eisenberg. Page got under my skin a little bit. Rome provides some beautiful scenery, the mix-up of plot lines and random baffles keep it interesting. Typical late-period Allen. Constrained, but not struggling. Worth a watch.
