Delroy Lindo is absolutely phenomenal, but everyone brings it in this one. Spike delivers a hell of a response to the moment, but it’s just as brilliant a response to BlacKkKlansman. He pulls from classic Hollywood but never lets that distract from the emotion at the films core. Blanchard’s score is career-best work

Artistically off the charts. Score incredible, cinematography great. De Armas is blameless.
Can’t stand the story/narrative/misery porn of it all. Just misses the mark with nearly every story story beat. I get it, we were voyeurs to her downfall and death. I’m glad we took 3rd grade film criticism.
For this film to release in a post-Dobbs world feels right. After all, it’s clear that most men do not understand that abortion is basic healthcare for women. In this film, we are bludgeoned by its uninformed take.
