there are few marvel movies i still look forward to watching nowadays, and yet this one was definitely an exception. tom holland's performance was amazing. utterly fulfilling. he really captured the essence of what it means to be peter parker; a pure, dedicated, fidgety kid who still has his fair share of stubborn teenage antics. although its vibe was very much pg 13/targeted for a young audience, i admired the sweet and cute moments that didn't feel forced or too artificial. as well as peter himself, making his descisions independently and choosing to help people especially when told not to. that's what pissed me off the most i guess, how parallel spiderman's superhero perspective was to that of steve rogers, rather than tony "i'm super rich and old so you have to listen to my hypocritical advice" stark. like seriously? time to RETIRE coca cola can.
