A moving documentary. Shocking that animals are still subjected to such torturous conditions and humiliation. Cinematically, I am only bothered by the dramatizing use of music and the somewhat sensationalist structure, but this should not detract from the film's well thought out, finely balanced and plausible argument. Overall, an important message: treat animals fairly and species-appropriate and not like slaves to our pleasure! One of the last sentences of the film is sad but true: In 50 years, people will look at this as if it were a barbaric time.

Very good documentary, which strongly establishes the link between today's anti-Semitism scene and the earlier ones and which shows us once again that racism and hatred unfortunately do not belong to the past, but are still widespread. Attacks like the one in Halle and the increasing radicalization in the social networks underline how important it is to act courageously and actively against such racists getting a voice to spread their false and illegal opinions and world views. Stop the racism!

This film is a stunner and sums up the problems of our time so well that it ties you to the seat and you have a lot to think and talk about afterwards. After the trailer I was skeptical, but the movie was awesome, funny, serious and shockingly truthful. A must-see and after Big Short already the second movie by McKay, which I want to give almost the full score. In my opinion he is one of the best screenwriters and directors currently.

After the trailer, I didn’t have much interest, but then I heard how good it was supposed to be, and it’s true. The atmosphere is very threatening and you expect a boring reconnaissance every second. But the film leaves a lot open and stimulates the imagination: very strongly written, clever plot and extremely strong acting performances.
