All of the nominees and winners from the 1980 book "The Golden Turkey Awards: The Worst Achievements in Hollywood History" by Harry and Michael Medved. There are some awards for individual actors, actresses and directors, so unless a film is singled out in the text for those items as being particularly egregious, I have stuck to the films attacked directly through nominations, including those in the back of the book chosen as the "worst films of all time" by the Medveds' readership.

I purchased my paperback copy of this title as a teenager, and while it initially provided a lot of fun for me (enough that I purchased their other books released through the '80s), I eventually grew tired of their take on "bad" cinema. What I began to perceive on repeat readings of the book was that the Medveds, despite their best efforts to make generally trite jokes to portray themselves as having a sense of humor, actually didn't seem to have much of one in approaching the subject of supposedly "bad" films. Especially after reading their book again after so many years, there is a general impression that their primary goal is merely to take potshots at relatively easy targets.
Things were made even worse when Michael, the older Medved, formed a dubious duo with Jeffrey Lyons to replace Siskel and Ebert and ruin Sneak Previews in 1984. That they continued on the show for 12 years is astounding to me (I only watched for the first two years or so), though I will admit I did like Medved far more than Lyons, progenitor of the profoundly terrible (but genuinely in tune with his generation) "critic," Ben Lyons.
Then Michael decided to go bonkers with his political and moralistic agenda, and I was pretty much done with the Medveds. It's fine that he expressed his opinions, but once he did, what it came down to is that we would never see eye to eye on anything. I simply lost interest, and looking back at his writing efforts with his brother, what once just annoyed me in the books became truly glaring. But I still have the books, and in order to at least to make a list or four to ensure that I have seen all of film titles mentioned in them, I now tackle them for what may likely be the last time.
