Tom Cruise’s Egon Spengler-esque bouffant quiff is just too distracting. I swear it gets bigger throughout the movie.

Top Gun: Maverick 2022
Top Gun Maverick is really very good but it’s absolutely not worthy of the gushing hagiography it’s been greeted with. It’s as formulaic and predictable as they come and while it has some undeniably fantastic action sequences, it doesn’t really offer much more than that.
