Brandon Wood’s review published on Letterboxd:
What an awesome close to an almot twenty year character. Jackman's wolverine has long been the best parts of an often mediocre cinematic depiction of the X-men. This noir-western creates some great unexpectwd moments while still playing to the genre. In particular the violence is so brutal it becomes narrative gel that really binds the characters. For so much of this franchise we get to see wolverine hold back scared of letting go. Damn is it satisfying to finally see it. Also, I love that the first word of this movie is "fuck".
