The Imitation Game ★★½

The epitome of a generic period piece biopic, with basically nothing interesting to say but some good performances by everyone involved. It has this three-way-split-timelines frame story thing going on, but it's basically everything you'd expect and unfolds with exactly the beats of other movies you've already seen.

For some reason, a movie about the father of the computer, and also a World War II spy movie, isn't very exciting. Why is this so...
