Cheesy 90s Action-Adventure Films Full of Worldbuilding

The 90s were a big time for blockbuster movies, when they were transforming from the long-legged ambitious romps of the 80s into the four-quadrant worldwide hits of the 00s and beyond. While the 90s had a huge load of traditional action movies and some good sci-fi, there was also a subset of blockbusters that were huge in scale or ambition, full of cheese, and tried to appeal to mass audiences (usually failing). A lot of them are considered to be notoriously bad films, but maybe those opinions are harsher than they should be in hindsight. Either way, this is a very interesting group of movies and I hope they're analyzed more as such.

I'm definitely missing a few; I'll try to add them as I find them.
