Watch & Discern’s review published on Letterboxd:
An interesting look at modern politics, and how the process has gotten dirtier over the years. The filmmakers obviously don't like Roger Stone (and I don't blame them), but Stone himself doesn't seem to care.
This documentary is an excellent portrait of the subject matter, even though the viewpoint is skewed. Stone is a political force of nature with a disturbing Machiavellian streak.
The only qualm I have is that the filmmakers didn't really acknowledge the dirty tricks played by operatives on the Left. Both sides have their share of lobbyists and fixers, and to paint one side as completely responsible for the modern political landscape is unfair and intellectually dishonest.
