Jordan Raup’s review published on Letterboxd:
A slight step up from Man of Steel. I actually prefer Snyder's visual eye here over pretty much any other superhero movie. There's a depth and texture to his images that is simply not present in the Marvel universe. However, the story here is a complete mess. I've seen collages by preschoolers that were better assembled than BvS. There's no structure or momentum whatsoever to anything happening. That said, Ben Affleck might be the best Batman and I enjoyed Wonder Woman's brief presence (but those guitar solos have to go). Overall, it's pretty depressing how this movie feels more like an inevitability to what's next rather than anything that can stand on its own. Still, #betterthanDeadpool.
