I had mixed feelings watching this a few years ago but a second viewing on blu-ray has improved it slightly for me.
My main issues with the film are the pacing. At 96 minutes it runs too long and there's quite a few sequences that drag on too long or are unnecessary. Also the supposed female lead is barely in the movie. I guess that could only afford her for a few days but it somewhat hurts the movie (especially since she gives a decent performance)
But Graduation Day is a still a fun slice of 80's slasher cheese. The kills are pretty decent (including a neat decapitation) and that chase sequence with Linnea Quigly is both hilarious and awesome. Also Christopher George. 'Nuff said!
The end is also pretty good.
