Steve Dickson’s review published on Letterboxd:
This second watch was of the directors cut. Still a cracking good film. It’s really weird and horrific at times. It’s really well made and pretty unique even though it has some heavy influences in there. I prefer these types of horror to the jump scare ones we get loads of these days. This manages to horrify and scare with its unsettling tone and grizzly visuals! It has that strange thing where I enjoyed watching it but was also quite relieved when it finished as it’s quite intense and frustrating the way those lunatics behave. Cracking good horror that gets under the skin.
