Room tells the story about a mother and son held captive for years inside a small enclosed room. You follow this journey through the little boy's eyes and experience his life inside and out the room.
I was really hyped for this since I fucking loved Brie Larson in 'Short Term 12', but I was left a bit underwhelmed in the end. It didn't leave an emotion punch as I thought it would. But don't get me wrong it's not a bad movie, and it's extremely well acted. Especially from Larson and Jacob Tremblay who plays the son, who I thought was a girl from the trailer and didn't realise until I started watching the movie. With Larson's Golden Globe win and the film's Oscar buzz I was expecting much more than I received.
