I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
Rocketman is the biopic we have been longing for.
Every aspect of this film has so much heart, care and attention to detail put into it, making for a truly enjoyable and uplifting experience.
Breaking from the traditional biopic tropes, this celebrates the highs and lows of Elton John's life through extravagant and imaginative sequences in this flamboyant rock musical.
The mix of fantasy and reality is a great way to show the colourful life story of Elton with exciting musical numbers and even bolder costumes.
The film is elevated to a whole new level by Taron Egerton in the lead performance. You can see his genuine love and admiration for Elton in every scene - he absolutely rocks it and deserves so much recognition.
A very honest and brave biopic that doesn't hold back or shy away, in fact it openly embraces it.
A brilliant celebration of music, life and the the man himself.
