Jack Aling’s review published on Letterboxd:
A True Comic Book Adaptation.
In this world of a new superhero film every week, Spider-Verse stands out amongst the rest as one of the freshest and ambitious I've seen in a very long time.
On rewatch it didn't lose any of its charm and I got to appreciate the insane attention to detail that went into every single frame.
With an unexpected level of maturity and a scale that can only truly be appreciated on the big screen, I'm annoyed that more people aren't checking this out, passing this off as a "kids animated Spider-Man film."
I cannot wait to wait to see this again and I will be so upset if this does not win Best Animated Feature in the upcoming awards season.
I cannot find any fault in what is a very strong contender of my film of the year.
