Jack Gaffney’s review published on Letterboxd:
Suicide Squad doesn't care about character development, only the undeserved arcs. it's weird to think especially since this is such a character driven movie with only a small portion of the squad realized. the rest of the squad that wasn't realized i didn't care for especially since their backstories were so rushed i didn't even bother.
anyways, it's all true. shit storytelling, shit editing, a lot of shit. but what they're not telling you is that it has a sweet soundtrack that is only there for some decently cool moments that never ever mesh together fluently... well, like most of the movie.
