I've never watched a more "of the moment" movie than this one. It perfectly captures a night of getting together with friends during this pandemic and that realism makes all the scary stuff super effective.

Host is a perfect modern ghost story that never slows down or gets boring. The characters are all likable and feel like real friends who you might get together with on Saturday night during lockdown. Knowing this was all actually shot on Zoom (with almost…

The last 15 minutes of this movie blew me away. I was really into this movie before that, but that ending took this to a whole nother level. It's just so crazy and badass and I immediately knew this was going to be one of my new favorites.

The original Evil Dead movies were some of the first horror movies I ever loved and they’re still some of my favorites today, so I was a little hesitant to give this movie…

I’m more than a decade late but this movie is fantastic. I can’t wait to watch the rest of this series.

Just incredible. A moving human story made up of characters you grow to really care about, massive amounts of destruction caused by a Godzilla that’s actually scary, and a poignant anti-war message about finding something worth living for. Absolutely enthralling all the way through with an ending that made me want to stand and cheer. A masterpiece.

I 100% understand why this is regarded as a feminist classic and I didn't feel bad at all for any of the guys in this.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Holy crap that ending is bleak. After such a (for the most part) light-hearted movie, I wasn't expecting it to get so dark in the last act. But man it does. This movie definitely doesn't pull it's punches and it's better for it.

After thinking about it overnight, I realized why this ending works so well. It's a subversion of the fun "my neighbor is a killer/monster" adventure that reminds the audience that having a neighbor who kidnaps and murders…
