Jody Webster’s review published on Letterboxd:
I love all the Dark Castle movies and I don't care what anyone says. They're cheesy, bloody, and consistently entertaining even if they aren't necessarily "good." The cast is a who's who of late 90s stars and bit players led by Geoffrey Rush doing his best Vincent Price impersonation. There's a lot of late 90s jittery effects that made me roll my eyes when I first watched it but now are kind of fun because they are such a product of the time. I just didn't appreciate this enough when I first watched it, but now I see how much fun it really is. Watching this back-to-back with the original was an extra treat.
