Super enjoyable, mostly due to Octavia Spencer's performance. I like that they don't try to hide her creepiness and show her stalking the kids and doing strange things from the very beginning. Her motivation for all the chaos ends up being a little underwhelming, but the chaos itself is pretty fun. I appreciate that all the teenagers were actually pretty likable and relatable so it makes Ma's actions even more disturbing. And they even actually look and act like real teenagers! It gets surprisingly dark at the end for a mainstream horror movie and I'm glad Blumhouse is putting out movies that are this crazy in theaters.
