Joe Lynch’s review published on Letterboxd:
Easily my 3rd favorite SCREAM.
Lots to digest still but I enjoyed the fresh spin on the Woodsboro Murders and the self-reflexivity that the first SCREAM (or is it STAB?) brought over 25 years ago.
At this point considering the twists the series has already exhausted with the killer’s identity, I’m sure you can guess who pretty quick and I wish it wanted to have more fun (which may not be it’s fault given 4 previous movies to instill enough trauma for the town and the legacy characters) but the kills are pretty spectacular (and BRUTAL) and Arquette is fantastic and the rest of the cast seems game.
As many have said…Wes would be proud.
