I’ve been waiting to talk about Parasite.
I saw it two weeks ago and i haven’t been able to process it clearly. There are those directors who, if I’m *really* lucky, make me look at the world a little differently. Those seminole moments, like seeing T2 or Back To The Future when I was a kid. Wes Anderson, PTA, Tarantino in my teens who pushed that even further with style and tone. And then I got comfortable. I knew the tricks. I stopped learning.
But Bong has proven with Parasite that there’s still room to grow.
I could talk about this movie for days. It’s that good. I want to watch it a million more times. I want to keep learning.
It’s perfect and so metaphorical.
