Letterboxd — Your life in film

I remember as a kid i would watch Robocop 2 all the time, but never watched the original which feels like a wild thing that only 90s kids did. Sequels were always the ones i loved because they were bigger and dumber and i was small and dumb. all this to say, can’t wait to watch robocop 2 again after watching this absolute masterpiece. didn’t shed one tear during this movie.

this really hit on my third rewatch. cried for mostly the last 30 minutes. the best of the stories of toys.

good flick, not enough plane for a movie called plane imho. didn’t cry once.

Loved it except for the part where he talks with the bully about how he made him look like a hero. bawled my eyes out when he talks with his mom at the end. full on catharsis.

Need to watch again, because i didn’t really connect with it, but everyone keeps on telling me i’m wrong. not a single tear.

Megan (the character) is amazing. didn’t cry at all, but wasn’t expecting to.

really nice movie. cried once when the sister left.

cried maybe 4 or 5 times, with an extended crying session after waymond says he’d love to do laundry and taxes in another life.

fantastic, cried twice. actually, maybe three times. guillen did great.

They used the retro Universal logo which was cool. had a good time, and liked this ending better than the book. Aldridge, Groff and Bautista are fantastic and I love that M. Night MUST have EVERY CHARACTER state exactly who they are and they’re character traits in dialogue.

saw that this was playing on prime and wanted to say if you haven’t seen it you must. what a wild documentary.

i saw someone write about the “Longaissance” in reference to justin longs performance in this movie and as mad as that made me i have to agree with them. i’m here for the longaissance.
