i wanted a cry. it delivered tenfold. emilia jones is winning an oscar at some point.

  • Cruella

    Cruella

I liked this a lot until she turned into cruella and i was like “right! this movie is about cruella!” she was too mean tbh. enjoyed the premise of “Devil Wears Prada” meets “Oceans 11” so much though.

  • A Quiet Place Part II

    A Quiet Place Part II

    ★★★★★

I’m absolutely stunned. I was in a theater again, a real - honest to god - moviegoing experience. Being in a theater and hearing people yell, hold their breath, say “oh no” to their partners/friends (i don’t know the relationship status of everyone in the theater) was one of the greatest experiences of the past two years. I forgot how much it meant to me. the joy of not looking at my phone, respecting my synagogue, and sitting for 100…

  • Krippendorf's Tribe

    Krippendorf's Tribe

for everyone who is giving me shit for giving every movie 5 Stars, something we can all agree on during these trying times…

the 1998 confounding tone deaf comedy (sp?) starring mr. dreyfuss and ms. elfman

i remember even as a 12 year old knowing this movie was just wrong. even by 1998 standards it screams “yikes” and “this is not good for anyone” right in your face.

i am obviously going back to giving every movie 5 stars sorry dylan and lucas, it’s just who i am, but this ones for my boys.

  • Those Who Wish Me Dead

    Those Who Wish Me Dead

angelina jolie is too hot and thin to play this part that at one point they had the kid say “that’s why you’re so skinny” and she laughs and says “i’m lean, kid, i’m lean…”

by far Taylor Sheridan's most accessible film to date.

  • Tom Clancy's Without Remorse

    Tom Clancy's Without Remorse

    ★★★★★

wish they didn’t show michael b jordan without a shirt on. now me and my girlfriend are leaving each other to shoot our shot.

i don’t know why michael b jordan has to be so serious all the tiiiiiime, u can tell he’s just oozing charisma. but every role he’s just so mad at everyone.

Michael B Jordan needs to do a rom com, Nancy Meyers’ Without A Horse i dunno leave me alone.

  • Love and Monsters

loved it. not a perfect film and way too much VO but for the amount of money they had - and you can tell it wasn’t enough - they made something really fun!

  • The Woman in the Window

    The Woman in the Window

    ★★★★★

so much to enjoy in this trashy thriller. obviously a hardcore homage to rear window, but closer to an old school thriller-style twilight zone, also referenced. look, if you go in with the right mindset you’ll have a good time. just don’t ask for too much, k?

  • Greenland

    Greenland

Like everyone else, shocked by how grounded this was. The performances are all there, the pacing is great, the dread is spot on. I cried like, three times?

    The kid is GREAT!

  • Voyagers

imho, too much ghost alien not enough sex.

  • Becky

I watched this after I saw someone on here call it Paul Blart: Mein Kampf, and I was immediately sold.

It's okay, really gory and the plot is paper thin, but sometimes that's a good thing.

Mainly just felt bad for the girl the whole time, I don't think she's mentally stable.
