Eternals is a film with big ideas and stunning cinematography (something that I imagine would make Jack Kirby proud); there’s plenty to be fascinated by. The downside, however, is that it takes forty minutes to build momentum and put some charisma on screen, and that the most interesting characters have the least amount of screen time.
