Rush Hour 3 2007
The second Rush Hour was a lil clumsy misstep. Nothing egregious as a sequel but decidedly messier than it's predecessor. This was a complete falling flat on its face. The script is much more generic and also somehow confusing to follow. It feels like a script that allows more for funny improv fueled by the chemistry of the cast. Indeed we see this comeradery in the blooper reel which maintains the only bit of Rush Hour soul in this movie.…

Scrapper 2023
This does have many things going for it from its performances to its softer tone than some of its influences (without sparing the emotional impacts). However, it is unfortunate that Aftersun is still so fresh in memory because that accomplishes a lot of similar territory and in my opinion blew this out of the water. Still though this was very sweet, touching, and includes a couple of great performances.
