It is different. I’m not sure if I like it or not. But there are some great things from this movie, mainly the dialogues and the camerawork. And for a directional debut, Cory Finley who also wrote the screenplay did an impressive job.
But in the end, this movie as a whole seems pretty flat and left me not feeling anything... Or maybe that’s the point of this movie the entire time? Making us become Olivia Cooke’s character who can’t feel anything.
