Plot holes and questions I have aside, you notice more during the second viewing, and who knows? maybe the third and fourth viewing too..
the more I think about it, the more I specifically think about how —Peele has Adelaide wear white through most of the film, only for it to slowly get covered in more and more blood, signifying that she was the tethered all along as she came closer to her nature..and that was, dare I say...*luca gaudingno voice* VERY telling of what I like about cinema!
