Daniel Luck’s review published on Letterboxd:
Samuel L. Jackson didn't need to be in 𝐾𝑜𝑛𝑔: 𝑆𝑘𝑢𝑙𝑙 𝐼𝑠𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑑. His character drags down the story so much.
I usually don't shut down my brain when watching films but 𝑆𝑘𝑢𝑙𝑙 𝐼𝑠𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑑 is one of the first exceptions. It's really enjoyable throughout, the cinematography is absolutely stunning and overall it's a very fun watch.
I'm not a huge fan of how the film ended (the zoom in on the eye) but both the John C. Reilly credits scroll and the actual post-credits scene make up for it.
Give 𝐾𝑜𝑛𝑔: 𝑆𝑘𝑢𝑙𝑙 𝐼𝑠𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑑 a watch when you get the time.
