Well, here it is. My single most anticipated piece of media ever since I watched The Godfather saga. Breaking Bad; potentially the most revered and acclaimed TV series of all time. While I can recognize the excellent animation and the absolutely gorgeous colors in these wonderfully crafted frames, there isn’t much weight to these actions, nor could I take much of this film too seriously due to its idiotic pacing and intrusive cheesiness. The music, look, and voice acting were all top notch. But pretty colors don’t make up for nonsensical attempts at complexity and weightless execution of themes that could’ve gone a long way. Watched the 4 hour cut with the parallel Clone Wars arc. Many of the holes were fixed, many problems I had with the theatrical vanished. A beautifully crafted tragedy set at the heart of the Star Wars universe. Doesn’t get old.
