Purl 2018
It oversimplifies the subject matter to the point where it doesn't say anything of substance. In the end, the solution it offers for balls of yarn (women) to be respected and included at work is just for them to "stick up for each other". The men are never actually challenged to take part in the change, and that's a problem.
This is particularly bad after the essay from last year that detailed the sexist workplace culture at Pixar… if releasing this short was meant as some measure of damage control, they need to do way better.
