This is one of those movies I've been trying to see (it plays the local cinematheque at least once a year) for a few years so when I spotted it on TCM in the morning before the day really got going, I decided to check it out and it did not disappoint.
Bonnie & Clyde for the 50s, this is something else. I'm not sure how I feel about Annie being the instigator of their life of crime but I love that she takes so much joy and pleasure from her outlaw life and that the movie makes no apologies for her actions. I can see why the bank robbery scene is the most cited but I love the finale - the tension is through the roof!
