Marina Antunes’s review published on Letterboxd :
A really raw story of a young couple trying to get clean together but Blaise is having a hard time of getting himself straight.
The downward spiral of their lives is emotionally draining but I couldn't really get into Nessa's mentality and why she even tries to stay with someone who is clearly self-destructive.
Though it ends with Nessa finally making some right decision for her well being, I found the overall movie to be relentlessly depressing, in the same way, Heaven Knows What is. Thinking of it, if you're looking for a super depressing double bill, this would be it.
Writer/director Ashley McKenzie is one to watch.
