Cameron Waggoner’s review published on Letterboxd:
While I'm a huge fan of the Timmverse, this movie feels a little lackluster in comparison to a lot of what it's given us. That's not to say it isn't good, rather it simply lacks anything distinctive (outside of some unusually cringeworthy dialogue, including a long conversation that implies a romantic relationship between Barbara Gordon and Bruce Wayne, which is made even more painful in the modern age knowing Timm's take on The Killing Joke) that I could think of that would make it stick out from the rest of the Batman movies. All the same, I think fans of Batman will be exceptionally pleased with this, and those craving a superhero movie won't be disappointed, they just won't have a whole lot to say about it.
Actually, I take it back, as this movie does have one thing that I may never forget: the singer at the Iceberg Lounge is without a doubt the most beautiful woman in the entire DCAU.
