    Bullet Train 2022

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

When I read Bullet Train, I had this one recurring thought: This is going to be so much better as a movie. The action felt very cinematic, the character traits were very adaptable for the screen, the storylines and background information about characters already felt more like things from a movie script rather than from a compelling book. In fact, I didn‘t love the book, but was sure I would find everything that I felt like was missing from it…

Great movie and all but ngl it really sucks that the first major franchise film to feature a primarily Native American cast is just being dumped on Hulu with little to no advertising

Bullet Train is mean, loud, obnoxious, erratic, immature, overstuffed, obscene, garish, gory and very very goofy. it's a maximilist sugar rush nightmare and i had a fucking blast with it.

    Additional Notes
+ Jonathan Sela is a visual blessing upon the corporate blockbuster landscape
+ Aaron Taylor-Johnson is a lot of fun
+ Joey King is great and always has been. Hope this helps get that rep back up after those Netflix movies.
+ the film knows the thrill of…

    Kid gets bullied.
Kid learns karate from an old man.
Kid enters tournament to avenge his honor.

Timeless in it's themes, it's story has been emulated by many other films to varying results. While it is nothing special compared to the effects laden thrill rides of today, Karate Kid started my love of all things martial arts.

And Yes!, that crane kick was legal. If your're not ready for the unexpected you can't hope to win first place. Karate Kid…

    "It's time to let go"
    " I don't know how"
Buried my mom today and had to watch this to help ease my mind. What I got instead was a masterpiece about grief and moving on from the past. This was better than my second watch for me. This films all about letting go of the past and moving forward, I love it so much and the first one. My mom would've loved this.

Tom Cruise's second or third best…

Pretty much your average spy thriller movie. I did find the action scenes to be a bit underwhelming and the writing was a little poor but the pacing was really good. The performances are great as all

Extra star for having the goat Ryan Gosling.
