Pastiche of 70's/80's video nasties (especially reminiscent of the first half of 'I Drink Your Blood'). I felt it was sorta hollow and pointless... but you know compared to most the shitty horror genre movies floating around lately, it wasn't so bad. Which is somewhat of a relief, due to all the bad horror movies Cage has been involved with. Guess he was due an OK one.

And not sure what all the arthouse/fantasy shit was aiming at, seemed tacked in to make it seem edgy and stop the hipsters walking out the cinema/switching off their laptops.

    22 July

Average netflix movie (have we honestly had anything other yet?) regurgitating Norways worst day in recent history 22 July 2011. That fateful day when lone neo-racist Anders Breivik killed 77 people in two extreme rightwing attacks in Oslo.

"Listen little Stevie King" - Wade (Rainn Wilson)

Essentially South Parks - Pink Eye episode without the Hitler & Wookie costumes and Trey & Matts inventive situational wit. Don't get me wrong Rainn Wilson beating & torching the undead shit out of the kids was fucking hilarious, trouble was the remaining several characters were like his straight man. It didn't spread the funny. Shame because it had Breaking Bads Badger and Losts Hurley who are genuinely funny guys wasted in uneventful support roles.
