Couldn’t come up with a good way to sum up what this films means to me, but I guess I’ll try.
Basically made me see art in a more constructive and critical way than just passively enjoying something and forgetting it in a week when I was like 10 years old. Also looking back this planted the seed for my enjoyment of sound design and in general my enjoyment of ambient and drone soundscapes, eventually leading to my liking of noise music.
In other words a good way to spend my birthday with a movie I like a lot and still has barely been topped either for personal importance or within its own genre and art form.
