Impossible not to fall in love with this film - even if only for the visuals. That stark dystopian rainy Los Angeles - I want to see and know more about it. Ridley Scott constructs an impressive looking film - always has.

The pace is slow but haunting - thanks to a superb Vangelis score. If anything, I wish we knew more about the Blade Runner's and their history. It's also not much of an action film, but more of a sci-fi drama, with plenty of psychology in the mix. Definitely the kind of film you have to watch more than once to appreciate.

I look forward to seeing where 2049 takes us.
