    Miracle on 34th Street

    ★★★★½

One of my mom's favorite Xmas movies.

I grew up watching this with her and it's never lost any charm. Edmund Gwenn is one of the great cinematic Santas and Natalie Wood is a delightful little skeptic.

Just a wonderful picture! Terrific performances, a mix of genre, and yes, a good message.

Watched while decorating our tree, just another family tradition.

Clark is just like me for real.

Garner and Helms are delightful in this body-swapping holiday comedy, plus Weezer is in it!

Wait this was directed by Mary 'Pet Sematary' Lambert?

Anyways, cute little movie. Heather Graham has been sorely missed and Brandy should be in more movies.

    "I was cured all right."

One of the most uncomfortable yet engrossing films I've seen. I've loved this depraved tale since high school and it more than holds up with its ability to shock and amaze.

What a flex for Kubrick to make Clockwork Orange his follow-up to 2001, brass plated balls that guy. Malcolm McDowell gives one of the greatest performances of all time here and combined with the visuals, it's one of Kubrick's best.

I don't watch this as often as I should but it really is a masterpiece. The same can be said for numerous Kubrick pictures.

New Arrow Video release looks astounding.

Been a fan of this since opening weekend and the director's cut remedied a lot of odd little things about the theatrical cut.

Hemsworth is fantastic in roles like this.

"I've got a case of the cocktail flu."

    What a beautiful film.

A career best Giamatti, Randolph blew me away, and newcomer Dominic Sessa knocks it out of the park. This picture feels so true to life and lived in.

An actor's showcase with a metric ton of heart, Payne's latest is one of my favorite movies of the year. This is easily going to be an annual Xmas season rewatch.

Kevin Hart and The Rock doing Danny Glover and Danny Devito impressions is just the greatest thing.

I hope we get another one of these and I hope they title it Jumanji: New Game Plus.

Such a fun adventure I don't even care that The Hobbit was split into 3 movies.

    What a picture!

New 4K transfer is absolutely stunning and the definitive way to watch. So many iconic images it's almost unfair to the rest of Disney's catalog. If they're going to continue restoring these classics I hope they all get the attention and care that this did. Looking forward to Fantasia and Sleeping Beauty especially.
