You can murder a revolutionary but you cant murder a revolution
We have a winner. The best of the fest, Judas and The Black Messiah. Lakeith and Daniel are the best of their careers here, and Shaka King provides us with one of the best directions of the year. Loved every minute, and i am in a state of disbelief, disgust, and shock based on what I just witnessed. People have the power, thats for sure. The best image from this film is the entire community coming together to rebuild a building. It is a glimmer of hope in this hopeless and injustice filled world. Thats gonna stick with me. Loved this masterpiece.
