If I'm honest, I didn't get all the way through this film. The early reviews boasted a solid performance by Ross Lynch. I just kinda saw a broody teen. Nothing interesting really happens in this film, and if they are aiming to show us the human side of Dahmer, or illustrate what led to his actions, I've got news for these filmmakers: The world doesn't need that. If you want to make a spectacle of what someone did and the people who brought them to justice, you may have a hook. I just don't see why anyone felt this story was an important one to tell.
