I would’ve got the point, and did after around sixty minutes. The part around the wedding was entertaining. Seeing the photo shoot I never intend on doing, and relating to the guy in that moment. Of course the paintings were cute, but absolutely nothing to make anyone want to seek them out.
There was actually fun to be had in this rubbish. A likeable character has joined the mix after being imprisoned for five millennia, and he cracks off a couple lines which had me laughing with him. Impressed. I moved and breath-and-efforted several times. The last part of the story should be a master work...
For my experience four of five is very harsh.
My head has been more so in books for the past month or more - maybe a building mutiny, but aside from that transference of time spent I was exerting a lot of, or all of my film related energy in original writing as opposed to all the film critiquing I so enjoy, so I’ve been too drained to put anything into, let alone think about, the movies I might’ve watched…
Only racially charged film I own that I have yet to watch, and I don’t have many unfortunately. I’m very frustrated with America at the moment. I thought rioting would be unneeded these days, a week ago, I thought there might have been a permanent, slow up we’ve hit. Nothing is changing. So sad.
