look i honestly don't think that any of the 'satirical' stuff in here really works, so it was genuinely a bit of a slog almost any time any of the characters were talking. but i'd be lying if i said i didn't enjoy every second of betty gilpin's performance. plus gilpin v. swank was a matchup i didn't know i needed but it was quite satisfying to see them beat the fuck out of each other.
fun fact: this was going to be the last movie my brother and i saw in cinemas before they shut down because of covid, but we figured it wasn't worth the risk. we were right!
