    The Irishman


    It’s not quite Goodfellas or The Departed for me, yet it’s the closest I think it honestly could get. Expectations were met for me and Pacino is maybe the best he’s been in nearly thirty years or so. Robert is also maybe the best he’s been beside in decades in more of a subdued performance yet so powerful at the same time. Martin Scorsese really is the best director of all time and even in his late 70s he still makes hits.

    A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood


    Tom Hanks will easily be in the running for best supporting actor. I enjoyed the movie only wish could have had more scenes with Mister Rogers. I could relate to some of the issues the main characters was going through at times so I could connect to the story. Rogers is a cultural icon of many adults childhood and it’s unfortunate we don’t have really anyone like him nowadays that can teach kids in a modern way.
