the scene where bridget runs after mark darcy wearing her underwear and a cardigan is such a powerful moment and, shockingly enough, for once I'm not exaggerating. bridget had spent the whole movie obsessing over her weight, her appearance and how other people perceive her, resulting in her constantly feeling awkward, inferior and powerless. yet by the end, she manages to overcome her insecurities in order to chase after and confront mark, who proceeds to kiss the fuck out of her and wrap his coat around her as the snow falls to the ground. she is accepted and loved. it's what she deserves.

the scene transitions initially gave off a very imovie vibe, and they ended up looking like wizards of waverley place on acid
