Alexei Toliopoulos’s review published on Letterboxd:
Intense and it builds into something quite exciting, although it took me a while to sync up with the pace and flow of things. I feel like for me there was just something missing to really be enthralled by Possessor. Perhaps just the tiniest dash of humor? I don’t think this needed to be funny or even lighter, but just something to give it a little more tonal complexity/diversity the way that the similarly themed The Matrix or Scanner Darkly are quite successful at.
I think on a second viewing I really could jibe with this a lot more.
