"We are all unreliable narrators, not just in the way we tell our stories to others, but how we tell them to ourselves."
    — Deb Caletti

Far apart from the hustle and hullabaloo of Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained or Inglourious Basterds, Quentin Tarantino's stylistic departure is both soothing and frustrating at the same time; while the slow burner of the first half of focussing of Rick Dalton(DiCaprio)'s reconciliation of fading away in the volatility of showbiz,…

    "Comme vous voulez."
    Translation: As you like.

This line occurs multiple times in the film and is pretty much what Alain Resnais took the cinematic experience to be.

Let's try to rate and alliterate here:

    Experimental: concept
    Extravagant: shooting
    Exquisite: framing
    Extraordinary: locale
    Extensive: boredom
    Expressionless: characterization
    Exasperating: resolution
    Excruciating: fatigue
    Extrinsic: pretense

While there has been slow/experimental cinema that has pushed the boundaries of cognition and attained the level of being transcendental, this ain't it, Chief.
2 stars for the visually stunning camerawork, a big void for the experience.

Poignant beyond belief and tense beyond tolerance, this film is a triumphant work of pacing the mood and gripping the attention of the viewers throughout the course of a couple of hours of spectacularly lit, composed and shot frames.

Utter bollocks. Total mindfudge. Pure genius.

What a bollocks crazy, gobsmacking amazeballs experience this was.
The animated equivalent of flipping through one those richly coloured and vibrant Marvel comics.

Let me justify the 5 star rating:

Is this the best superhero movie story?
No, The Dark Knight and Logan are certainly better.

Is this the best animated movie?
No, definitely doesn't beat PIXAR and Ghibli greats.

Is this the most fun Marvel movie?
No, Thor: Ragnarok had more laughs.

This is the one which manages…
